Terrence J hosted his birthday party (alongside friend Nick Storm) last night at Club Amnesia last night in NYC. Terrence showed off his mohawk and hit the red carpet with his “106 & Park” co-host Rocsi. Rocsi looked cute in her Herve Leger pale pink dress and studded pumps also rocking her glasses for a change-up. It almost looks like she should be shooting a music video on some Caribbean island. What’s kinda throwing me off is the fact that she’s walking through an underground parking garage. If Rihanna was on a beach, I might not have thought twice about the ensemble. Either way it’s a very good look for her!

My girls and I are all for all types of fashion. We love designer duds with thrift store finds, the masculine and the feminine, expensive accesories with cheap T-shirts, and soft spring layers with cozy winter separates, but has Beyonce taken it a little bit too far? Yes, no, maybe so? Above is Beyonce walking out of a Broadway show on Saturday night in New York City. The weather was more warm in the daytime but cooler in the evening, so she mixed it up with a winter top and summer bottom. But she took the contrasting thing one step further by going girly everywhere except her bottoms. The classic pink Chanel jacket, a tangle of layered gold necklaces, and Christian Louboutin stilettos all scream over-the-top glamour, but those short denim cutoff shorts were her attempt to help bring this look back down to earth.

Chris Brown’s music may not be doing so hot, Graffiti is in danger of slipping out of the Top 50 after little more than a month, while “Crawl” can’t even make the Top 50 singles, but that doesn’t mean the twitter head is going to disappear. The singer has been making the scene at Milan’s Fashion Week, appearing at men’s fashion shows every night since Friday, Jan. 15th. The special screening for the comedy movie, Why Did I Get Married Too?, took place at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York City. Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Tasha Smith, and Sharon Leal grace the red carpet for the new Tyler Perry movie Why Did I Get Married Too? Everyone appreciates Tasha Smith in all her glittery glory with her red one-shoulder sequins dress, but we love Janet’s funky take on red carpet dressing, in her cropped pants and belted blazer. Filmmaker Tyler Perry who also has a role in “Why Did I Get Married Too?” was seen appearing in a casual outfit. The film itself follows four close couples who share news about their lives and relationships during their annual one-week reunion in the Bahamas. With a problem which comes to Sheila, the others soon realize they too are not immune to the challenges of commitment and fidelity. It is scheduled to open wide in U.S. theaters starting April 2.

The afterparty fun kicked off in LA last night, March 7, 2010 with the legendary Vanity Fair post- Oscars party. The Sunset Towers hosted stars who attended the show and those that didn’t, like Jennifer Hudosn and Serena Williams who chatted with Gabrielle Union. Sandra Bullock clutched her Academy Award, and her The Blind Side costar Quentin Aaron posed with Rachel McAdams. Kathryn Bigelow and Jeremy Renner looked thrilled to bring out their The Hurt Locker gold, and fellow winner Jeff Bridges smiled. Jamie Foxx was boo’d up with actress Stacey Dash all night. They walked the red carpet together at the Vanity Fair event and Elton John’s party. I thought Stacey was married. I can’t keep up. When the fashion on the Oscars red carpet was good, it was very, very good. And there was A LOT of beautiful fashion. But there were a few ensembles that left me scratching my head. This might be the first time ever that Amber Rose was photoed in an elegant dress looking fabolous. I know I’m not the only person that was left mind bottled with her appearance. This is something that she should keep up.

“I love playing with different looks. To me an outfit is a picture. When I see it, I see it as a visual, so I love playing with that and making different pictures. Putting it together is the best part to me.”

“I say 90% because I can’t take all the credit. My stylist Mariel [Haenn], she has a great eye so we do alot of work together. We sit at the computer together, we go through all the shows, we put outfits together, or we sit and design.”
